The Minister of Health, MK Rabbi Uriel Bosso, arrived this week for a tour of Laniado Hospital. The CEO of the medical centre, Mr. Nadav Chen, along with the center's management, welcomed the minister and gave him a tour of the surgical department, where the injured from the incident in Kibbutz Ra'im are still hospitalised. The minister was also shown spaces where intensive work is being done to prepare shelters in emergency situations and protection works for infrastructures and departments. The minister received a comprehensive overview of the hospital's needs in the war situation, following the admission of dozens of wounded from the south, as well as the admission of patients from Ziv Hospital and the Galilee Medical Centre.

Mr. Nadav Chen, CEO of the Sanz Medical Center Laniado, said during the tour: "We received here dozens of wounded from the events in the south, and also patients evacuated from the north in preparation for a war on that front. The hospital is being intensively prepared, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Home Front Command, for the war continuation. We are carrying out a lot of protection and shelter work, alongside with treatment of patients who come to us from Netanya and the Sharon area".

The Minister of Health, summed up the tour and said: "The Ministry of Health stands to the right of the hospitals. Today everyone understands that the health system is just as important as the security system, and we will take care of its needs. I was impressed by highly professional work that is being done here at Laniado Hospital, in order to prepare for the war continuation. The preparation for the future is being carried out simultaneously with providing dedicated and professional care to the wounded from the south and the patients from the north”
