As part of his ongoing tour of hospitals across Israel, Minister Moshe Arbel recently visited Laniado Hospital. Accompanied by Chief Executive Nadav Chen, Medical Director Prof. Zvi Shimon, and Head Nurse Ms. Esther Shir, the Minister engaged with the dedicated medical staff and explored various departments.

One of the highlights was the inspection of the new state-of-the-art General Intensive Care Unit, slated to open in late August. This cutting-edge facility has been a focal point of the hospital's activities since the onset of the pandemic.

During the tour, Minister Arbel witnessed the challenges faced by the emergency department in serving the large population of over 500,000 residents in the Sharon Region.

I commend the hospital's management for their vision, long-term thinking, and impressive growth.

Impressed by Laniado Hospital's commitment to providing essential medical services to the community, Minister Arbel stated, "I commend the hospital's management for their vision, long-term thinking, and impressive growth. Despite an increased population, the hospital has successfully emerged from the recovery program while expanding its capabilities. The Ministry of Health will continue to support Laniado Hospital to ensure its continued success."

Nadav Chen, CEO of Laniado Hospital, expressed gratitude for the Minister's visit and emphasized the significance of the forthcoming General Intensive Care Unit for the residents of Netanya and the Sharon Region. He also highlighted the government's commitment to constructing a new Emergency Department in the future.
