This past Sunday and Monday, a remarkable group of 20 generous and wholehearted supporters from London and Manchester set off on a unique whisky trip to Scotland’s Speyside region — all in support of Laniado Hospital in Netanya, Israel.

Over 36 hours and just one night away, the group experienced an unforgettable blend of warmth, friendship, and philanthropy, raising vital funds for Laniado’s new Sheltered Maternity Unit — a haven where mothers and babies receive care with compassion, dignity, and love.

Flying into the heart of whisky country, participants were treated to a carefully curated itinerary that included some of Speyside’s most iconic and historic distilleries: A visit to Glendronach, setting the tone with its rich heritage and hospitality. We had a guided tasting at Glenlivet, known for its elegance and pioneering spirit. A memorable stop at BenRiach, offering bold flavours and warm welcomes. A truly special experience at GlenAllachie, hosted by legendary master distiller Billy Walker, whose personal tasting was a true highlight. Finally, an exclusive VIP tasting at Glenfarclas, where the group sampled a remarkable 1953 vintage — soon to be officially bottled, and already etched in memory.

Together, the group raised over £25,000 for Laniado Hospital.

Central to the trip was a meaningful fundraising effort: 25 hand-picked bottles were auctioned and raffled, with all proceeds going directly to support the new maternity unit. Together, the group raised over £25,000 — an incredible act of kindness that will help bring new life into the world at Laniado.

Each bottle was lovingly brought back to our Hendon office and will be personally delivered to those who took part — a small gesture to match the deep generosity shown.

To each and every participant — thank you. Your joy, generosity, and sense of togetherness turned a whisky trip into something truly meaningful.
