After last nights mass casualty event from the drone attack at the Binyamina Army Base in Israel, six of the injured soldiers were taken to the Emergency Department at Laniado Hospital. Of the six, two sustained moderate injuries, while four suffered minor injuries. Three of the patients will be admitted for further treatment, while the others will be discharged.

The primary injuries include shrapnel wounds to the head, face, back, and limbs, with some patients also experiencing psychological trauma.

All patients underwent initial assessments by the Emergency Department team, followed by evaluations from surgeons and orthopedists. Numerous medical personnel were called in from their homes to assist.

The hospital’s Social Work Department has contacted the families of the injured, many of whom have arrived to be with their loved ones.
