Laniado Staff treat IDF soldiers from this morning’s Car-Ramming Attack

At 10:00 a.m. this morning, eight IDF soldiers were wounded in Kfar Yona in what appears to be a terror ramming attack. A manhunt for the attacker is currently underway.
Preliminary reports indicate that the terrorist did not steal the vehicle used in the attack; the vehicle’s owners have been taken in for questioning. The soldiers were waiting at a bus stop on Route 57, near the entrance to Kfar Yona, when the incident occurred.
At the same time, the Laniado Emergency Team received notification of the attack, which took place just 10 kilometres from the hospital. A limited mass-casualty incident was immediately declared. All surgical, orthopedic, imaging, and other hospital teams followed standard emergency protocols and prepared for the arrival of the injured.
We commend our staff for their swift and coordinated response.
Four injured individuals were brought to the hospital with head and limb injuries. They underwent a series of tests for an initial assessment of their condition, and all are currently in mild condition.
Our social work team is providing support to the injured and their families, drawing on experience gained from responding to previous terror incidents, such as the Park Hotel bombing in Netanya over 20 years ago.
We commend our staff for their swift and coordinated response, and we remain fully committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our community under all circumstances.
