In the middle of Israel’s war with Iran, something extraordinary is happening in Netanya.

At Laniado Hospital, life is not slowing down, it is accelerating.

In just a matter of weeks, the hospital has seen births surge from an average of 23 babies a day… to almost 40, an increase of nearly 50%.

It is now recording more births than any hospital in Israel.

This is not a coincidence., It is a direct response to war.

As missile threats intensify, expectant mothers from across the country are making a clear and urgent choice to give birth in the safety of Laniado’s fully fortified new maternity unit.

A facility that, until recently, was a forward-thinking expansion. Today, it is a national necessity.

The newly built sheltered maternity unit was designed in anticipation of exactly this kind of reality: conflict, disruption, and the need to protect the most vulnerable at the most critical moment.

Inside, medical teams are working under relentless pressure.

Inside, medical teams are working under relentless pressure. Midwives, doctors, and support staff are delivering almost double the number of babies they were just weeks ago, all while the hospital continues to operate under wartime conditions.

Every birth must happen safely and every mother must be protected.

The scenes inside Laniado’s maternity unit are unlike anywhere else in the country right now, a constant flow of new life, in a fully protected environment, while the reality of war continues.

Even under the threat of conflict and under huge pressure, life is not just continuing, it is rising.

At Laniado Hospital, in the middle of war, Israel’s future is being born…40 times a day.
