In light of the current situation in Israel and the possibility of increased tensions in the northern region, Laniado is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of all patients without any compromise. To achieve this, a secure shelter complex is currently under construction at the heart of the hospital, spanning hundreds of meters.

This initiative will create additional bed space in various sections of the hospital, as the most fragile patients who cannot be relocated will be accommodated in this newly fortified area. This setup guarantees uninterrupted emergency treatment for patients. However, it's important to note that this project comes with a significant cost, estimated at £500,000.00.
