Laniado Hospital recently conducted a helicopter landing exercise at night here, at the hospital helipad.

The exercise was designed to test the readiness of our facilities and to practice the protocols for the rapid reception of wounded patients.

An Air Force helicopter landed on the hospital's helipad and medical teams practiced transferring casualties to emergency room. Medical staff and military personnel from different units practiced transmitting medical information and coordinating actions while continuing to give lifesaving care to patients.

The exercise was very successful

During the exercise, the hospital's medical and security teams worked in collaboration with pilots tasked with landing in an urban area under cover of darkness. The exercise was very successful.

Laniado Hospital has a strong history of cooperation with the Air Force, and exercises such as these are necessary to maintain our readiness to deal with real situations.
