A year ago the team at the birthing centre at Laniado welcomed baby Kfir Bibas into the world. The 18 January 2024 marked his first birthday whilst being held hostage in Hamas captivity, along with his 4-year-old brother and Mother.
So many of us have seen the video of his mother Shiri’s look on her face and she gripped her two boys close to her to keep them as safe as she could. The father Yarden was also taken captive and kept separately.

None were freed during the weeklong truce and another hostage who was set free said she was present when Yarden was told that all three had been killed by Israeli missiles. This is something the IDF denies.
We pray from the bottom of our hearts that Kfir is released and can celebrate his birthday with his family and for the release of all the hostages.
