Gemma graduated with a First Class degree in Economics and Econometrics from Nottingham University in 2000. She immediately joined the Corporate Finance department of UBS Investment Bank and spent the next five years working on some of Europe's largest media mergers and financing. In 2005 she began to work for the CEO of UBS Investment Bank undertaking a role primarily focused on the strategy and the CEO's communications. Gemma chose to leave the city after 13 years in 2013 to dedicate more time to her family and charity. She lives in Elstree with her husband Simon and their three children.
