Dozens of men and women among the medical and logistical staff of the Laniado hospital as well as reserve soldiers, in support within the hospital, marked a minute of silence during the siren which sounded throughout the country commemorating Remembrance Day. They were all gathered on the esplanade at the entrance to the Laniado Hospital.
The major and Dr. Chai SAGUI, one of the main gynecologists at the hospital and commander of the military unit of the Home Front Command at the hospital stood next to the CEO of Laniado, Mr. Nadav CHEN (reserve major).
The Laniado CEO then said, “Today we remember the fallen soldiers and the victims of terrorism. It is not an easy day. We all know someone who died in a war or terrorist attack in Israel. We stand side by side both on the battlefield and in the war against the coronavirus. I really appreciate what the Home Front Command soldiers do, especially today!”.
