International Nurses Day was celebrated at Laniado Hospital with personal treats, gifts, an artistic performance, and a festive lunch for the hundreds of nurses who work at the hospital.
In honor of International Nurses Day, which was celebrated throughout Israel, the management of Laniado Hospital put on a special fun day for the hundreds of nurses, male and female, on its staff. The day-long event included massage, makeup, and reflexology stations along with an artistic performance, a festive lunch, personal gifts to the nurses, and more. The hundreds of participants enjoyed the elaborate event and expressed the hope that future Nurses Days live up to the high standards that were set this year.
Mrs. Esther Shir, head nurse at Laniado, greeted the nurses and said, "We work around the clock, 365 days a year, on Shabbatot and holidays - one day a year we are allowed to enjoy ourselves and to be pampered. I would like to thank Mr. Nadav Chen, the CEO of Laniado, for this day and hope that we shall continue to meet at these events in the future.”
Nadav Chen congratulated the participants, and noted: "Laniado’s human resources are our important resource. We will continue to invest in nurturing our nurses out of the understanding that happy nurses provide the best nursing service.”
