Did you know?
Nearly half of Laniado UK’s work is made possible by people including our beloved hospital in their Will. Many have chosen to be remembered through their commitment to our unique cause. These donations make a huge difference and are saving lives on a daily basis.
It’s as simple as that.
How will my legacy be used?
Money we raise in the UK is used primarliy for the purchase of medical equipment. Whether replacing old machines or investing in the latest medical technology, the hospital has a constant need to acquire new stock. When leaving a legacy, many donors choose to dedicate funds to a particular department or may wish to be a partner in the development of the hospital by dedicating a room or a new wing. Whatever the size of the legacy gift, we endeavour to ensure that it is used to do the greatest good and with the utmost care and efficiency.
We can also provide comfort by arranging for Kaddish to be recited on a yahrzeit, so you can be safe in the knowledge that it will be recited annually on the appropriate date.
How do I give?
We recommend that you use a solicitor to have your Will drafted or updated. We offer advice on how to approach this sensitive matter. We understand your family and loved ones must always come first. We also recognise you have the right to change your mind at any time.
What are the benefits?
In addition to supporting Laniado, leaving a legacy can be highly tax efficient. All donations are not accounted for by HMRC and are therefore exempt from Inheritance Tax. Recent government legislation was designed to encourage legacies. Laniado UK is in contact with legal professionals and can advise you on how to consider making a legacy in the most tax efficient manner.
