Corona Department Reopens at Laniado Hospital
Following the new wave of morbidity, the Corona ward at Laniado Hospital has been reopened. As of this moment, five patients are hospitalized in the ward, among them a patient in critical condition, anesthetized and on a respirator.
Mr. Nadav Chen, CEO of Laniado said, “Unfortunately, we were forced to reopen the department. The rise in morbidity in Israel in general and in the Sharon region in particular, obligates us to provide professional and dedicated medical care to Corona patients, as we have proven ourselves in the past year and a half. On the other hand, it saddens me greatly that even at this point in time, I find myself engaged in putting out fires for vendor payment debts, due to the non-transfer of the budget promised to us by virtue of us being a non-governmental public hospital, instead of engaging in what is really important - eradicating the Corona epidemic”.
